New Mexico High School Volleyball - Sandia routed by La Cueva

The Sandia Matadors volleyball team (Albuquerque, NM), was dropped 3-0 in Saturday's league challenge with the host La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM)

The Bears (21-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Farmington (Farmington, NM). The Scorpions enter the 5A District 2 challenge with a 10-11 record. In their last challenge, Farmington was dropped by Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Matadors meet the Piedra Vista Panthers (Farmington, NM) in a 5A District 2 challenge, on Tuesday, November 1. Sandia will attempt to move on its 15-6 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 7-14 record after their 3-0 league win over West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM).
