The George Washington Patriots (Charleston, WV) soccer nipped the visiting Greenbrier East Spartans (Lewisburg, WV), 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Patriots now hold a 17-4 record. They play next when they travel to Morgantown for a non-league challenge on Thursday, November 7. George Washington will encounter a Mohigans squad coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WV). The Mohigans record now stands at 17-2.
With the loss, Greenbrier East moves to 16-4 on the year.
