The Tohatchi Cougars volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Newcomb Skyhawks to 0 in the Cougars league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cougars now possess a 17-4 record. They play next when they travel to Wingate for a 3A District 1 outing on Thursday, October 31. Tohatchi will play a Bears team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Navajo Prep (Farmington, NM). The Bears record now stands at 4-14.

With the loss, Newcomb drops to 3-17 on the campaign. The Skyhawks host Crownpoint (Crownpoint, NM) to play the Eagles in a 3A District 1 outing on Thursday, October 31. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 10-9. Crownpoint won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Zuni (Zuni, NM)
