The Heritage Pioneers volleyball team (Lynchburg, VA), went down 3-0 in Monday's non-league challenge with the host Nelson County Governors (Lovingston, VA)

The Governors (3-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Altavista (Altavista, VA). The Colonels come into the Dogwood challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Altavista defeated Dan River (Ringgold, VA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Pioneers encounter the Rustburg Red Devils (Rustburg, VA) in a Seminole challenge, on Tuesday, October 4. Heritage will attempt to move on its 2-11 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 11-0 record after their 3-1 league win over Brookville (Lynchburg, VA).
