The Heritage Pioneers volleyball team (Lynchburg, VA), went down 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Nelson County Governors (Lovingston, VA)

The Governors (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Amherst County (Amherst, VA). The Lancers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Amherst County went down by Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Pioneers encounter the Halifax County Comets (South Boston, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 25. Heritage will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Comets come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA).
