The Helias Crusaders topped the host Blair Oaks Falcons volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Crusaders now have a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host California for a non-league test on Thursday, October 5.
The Falcons (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Rock Bridge (Columbia, MO). The Bruins enter the non-league test with a 9-2 record.
Match Summary
The Helias Catholic Lady Sader's would take a short road trip to play the Blair Oaks Lady Falcons. In the first Set Helias would battle back and forth with the Lady Falcons until tied 11-11. Then Helias would jump out to a 17-12 lead. Helias would extend the lead to 22 with Blair Oaks charging back to make it 19-22. Helias would not let it get any closer taking the first Set 25-19. In the 2nd Set Helias would jump out to a 6-0 lead, then 8-2, then 13-5 before busting loose and going ahead 19-6, never looking back. The Lady Saders finished out the Set 25-8 for the Set win & Match victory. Helias would score 32 Points off Serve with 14 Aces, 13 kills, 12 Assist's, 41 Digs, 1 Combo Block and 22 Receptions. Blair Oaks would score 10 Points off Serve with 4 Aces and 8 kills for the match. Helias is now 13-5 on the season.
