The Rockbridge County Wildcats volleyball team (Lexington, VA), was dropped 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA)

The Gobblers (10-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA). The Trailblazers enter the non-league challenge with a 5-7 record. In their last challenge, Spotswood was dropped by William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the East Rockingham Eagles (Elkton, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 5. Rockbridge County will attempt to move on its 2-11 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA).
