The Broadway Gobblers held off the visiting Rockbridge County Wildcats volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Gobblers now have a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spotswood for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 12. Broadway will confront a Trailblazers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA). The Trailblazers record now stands at 2-3.
The Wildcats (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA). The Indians enter the non-league test with a 4-0 record. In their last test, Fort Defiance held off Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
