With the triumph, Union Grove moves its record to 16-5 on the year. The Wolverines travel to Jones County (Gray, GA) to play the Greyhounds in a 5A Region 2 contest on Thursday, October 5. The Greyhounds come into the contest with a record of 11-14. Jones County won 16-0 in their recent league contest against Warner Robins (Warner Robins, GA)

In their next game, the Hornets play the Woodland Wolfpack (Stockbridge, GA) in a 4A Region 5 contest, on Thursday, October 5. Hampton will attempt to move on its 9-12 season record. The Wolfpack come into the contest with a 2-10 record after their 22-7 non-league loss to Salem (Conyers, GA).
