The Union Grove Wolverines softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Hampton Hornets to 2 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Union Grove improves its record to 13-4 on the year. The Wolverines host Locust Grove (Locust Grove, GA) to clash with the Wildcats in a 5A Region 2 game on Tuesday, September 26. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 5-10. Locust Grove won 16-0 in their recent league game against Eagle's Landing (McDonough, GA)

In their next game, the Hornets clash with the Lovett Lions (Atlanta, GA) in a 4A Region 5 game, on Tuesday, September 26. Hampton will attempt to improve on its 8-9 season record. The Lions come into the game with a 7-7 record after their 13-1 non-league loss to North Atlanta (Atlanta, GA).
