Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Jefferson Saints (Edgewater, CO) and the visiting Platte Canyon Huskies (Bailey, CO), witnessed Jefferson's softball squad prevail over Platte Canyon by a count of 14-2.

The Saints now sport a 6-6 record. They play next when they host Middle Park for a 3A Frontier match on Thursday, October 5. Jefferson will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 15-10 league loss to Englewood (Englewood, CO). The Panthers record now stands at 0-11.

With the loss, Platte Canyon moves to 3-15 on the season.
