The Blue Thunder (18-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Freeport (Freeport, IL). The Pretzels enter the Northern Illinois NIC-10 challenge with a 0-13 record. In their last challenge, Freeport went down by Boylan Catholic (Rockford, IL), 2-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Vikings encounter the Belvidere Bucs (Belvidere, IL) in a Northern Illinois NIC-10 challenge, on Thursday, October 5. Guilford will attempt to move on its 3-10 season record. The Bucs enter the challenge with a 13-10 record after their 2-0 league win over Harlem (Machesney Park, IL).
