The Golden Bears now have a 7-19 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newell-Fonda for a non-league game on Thursday, October 5. Bishop Garrigan will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 league win over Storm Lake St. Mary (Storm Lake, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 14-8.

The Eagles (1-25) will now prepare for their game against North Butler (Greene, IA). The Bearcats enter the non-league game with a 9-14 record. In their last game, North Butler gained a win over Rockford (Rockford, IA), 3-0, in a league game.
