The Garinger Wildcats volleyball team (Charlotte, NC), went down 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Charlotte Catholic Cougars (Charlotte, NC)

The Cougars (11-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Butler (Matthews, NC). The Bulldogs come into the Southwestern 4A challenge with a 17-1 record. In their last challenge, Butler defeated Rocky River (Mint Hill, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats encounter the West Charlotte Lions (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 9. Garinger will attempt to move on its 1-16 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 4-10 record after their 3-0 league win over Harding University (Charlotte, NC).
