The Charlotte Catholic Cougars topped the visiting Garinger Wildcats volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.

The Cougars now have a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Butler for a Southwestern 4A test on Monday, September 11. Charlotte Catholic will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 league win over Rocky River (Mint Hill, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-1.

The Wildcats (1-8) will now prepare for their test against Monroe (Monroe, NC). The Redhawks enter the non-league test with a 0-7 record. In their last test, Monroe was knocked off by Anson (Wadesboro, NC), 3-0, in a league test.
