The Columbia Wildcats volleyball team (Columbia, MS), was dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Lawrence County Cougars (Monticello, MS)

The Cougars (11-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Brookhaven (Brookhaven, MS). The Panthers enter the Class 5 Region 6 challenge with a 7-15 record. In their last challenge, Brookhaven was dropped by Jim Hill (Jackson, MS), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Salem Wildcats (Tylertown, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 5. Columbia will attempt to move on its 7-16 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 16-9 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Brookhaven (Brookhaven, MS).
