The Lawrence County Cougars volleyball team (Monticello, MS), went down 3-1 in Monday's league challenge with the host Columbia Wildcats (Columbia, MS)

The Wildcats (7-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Perry Central (New Augusta, MS). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Perry Central went down by Tylertown (Tylertown, MS), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars encounter the Wesson Cobras (Wesson, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 12. Lawrence County will attempt to move on its 8-4 season record. The Cobras enter the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Amite County (Liberty, MS).
