Minnesota High School Volleyball - Crosby-Ironton overwhelmed by Verndale

In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Verndale Pirates volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Crosby-Ironton Rangers.
The Pirates (14-3) will now prepare for their battle against Wadena-Deer Creek (Wadena, MN). The Wolverines come into the Park Region battle with a 12-6 record. In their last battle, Wadena-Deer Creek defeated Osakis (Osakis, MN), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Rangers encounter the Aitkin Gobblers (Aitkin, MN) in a Mid-State battle, on Thursday, October 5. Crosby-Ironton will attempt to move on its 4-10 season record. The Gobblers come into the battle with a 4-17 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Proctor (Proctor, MN).
