The Eastside Spartans volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Twin Springs Titans to 0 in the Spartans league victory on Tuesday.
The Spartans now possess a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host J.I. Burton for a Cumberland game on Thursday, October 5. Eastside will meet a Black Raiders team coming off a 3-0 league win over Rye Cove (Clinchport, VA). The Black Raiders record now stands at 6-4.
The Titans (5-7) will now prepare for their game against Thomas Walker (Ewing, VA). The Pioneers enter the Cumberland game with a 7-2 record. In their last game, Thomas Walker defeated Castlewood (Castlewood, VA), 3-0, in a league game.
