Eastside Spartans (Coeburn, VA) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Twin Springs Titans (Nickelsville, VA), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Spartans clash with the J.I. Burton Black Raiders (Norton, VA) in a Cumberland match, on Tuesday, September 19. Eastside will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Black Raiders come into the match with a 2-3 record after their 3-1 league win over Rye Cove (Clinchport, VA).

With the loss, Twin Springs drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Titans host Thomas Walker (Ewing, VA) to clash with the Pioneers in a Cumberland match on Tuesday, September 19. The Pioneers come into the match with a record of 2-0.
