Texas High School Volleyball - Overton over Hawkins

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Overton Mustangs (Overton, TX) and the visiting Hawkins Hawks (Hawkins, TX), saw Overton's volleyball squad beat Hawkins by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Overton upgrades its record to 26-6 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Big Sandy (Big Sandy, TX) to play the Wildcats in a 2A Region III District 19 bout on Friday, October 6. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 6-17. Big Sandy lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Union Grove (Gladewater, TX)

The Hawks now own a 6-13 record. They play next when they travel to Big Sandy for a 2A Region III District 19 bout on Friday, October 13.
