The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Northeastern Eagles (Elizabeth City, NC) and the host Hertford County Bears (Ahoskie, NC), witnessed Northeastern's volleyball team run past Hertford County by a score of 3-1.
The Eagles now have a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Camden County for a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A test on Thursday, October 5. Northeastern will confront a Bruins team coming off a 3-1 league win over First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC). The Bruins record now stands at 13-3.
The Bears (5-9) will now prepare for their test against First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC). The Nighthawks enter the Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A test with a 10-8 record. In their last test, First Flight dropped by Camden County (Camden, NC), 3-1, in a league test.
