The Northeastern Eagles volleyball team (Elizabeth City, NC), was dropped 3-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Hertford County Bears (Ahoskie, NC)

The Bears (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC). The Nighthawks enter the Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, First Flight was dropped by Camden County (Camden, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles encounter the Camden County Bruins (Camden, NC) in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A challenge, on Tuesday, September 12. Northeastern will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Bruins enter the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 3-0 league win over First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC).
