The Lovelady Lions volleyball team (Lovelady, TX), was nudged 3-2 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Latexo Tigers (Latexo, TX)

The Tigers (24-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Groveton (Groveton, TX). The Indians enter the 2A Region III District 23 challenge with a 12-16 record. In their last challenge, Groveton nipped Colmesneil (Colmesneil, TX), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Lions meet the Centerville Tigers (Centerville, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 7. Lovelady will attempt to move on its 13-14 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 14-15 record after their 3-0 league loss to Normangee (Normangee, TX).
