The Savannah Savages softball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Lafayette Fighting Irish to 2 in the Savages league win on Thursday.

The Savages now possess a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lafayette for a Class 3 District 16 battle on Thursday, October 3. Savannah will confront a Fighting Irish team coming off a 14-0 non-league loss to Park Hill (Kansas City, MO). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 12-14.
