Georgia High School Softball - Troup County bounces Sandy Creek

October 3, 2024: LaGrange, GA 30241

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Troup County Tigers (LaGrange, GA) and the visiting Sandy Creek Patriots (Tyrone, GA), observed Troup County's softball team notch a victory over Sandy Creek by a tally of 15-0.

The Tigers (10-11) will now prepare for their bout against Spalding (Griffin, GA). The Jaguars go into the 3A Region 2 bout with a 15-13 record. In their last bout, Spalding was routed by Locust Grove (Locust Grove, GA), 3-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Patriots battle the Whitewater Wildcats (Fayetteville, GA) in a 3A Region 2 bout, on Monday, October 7. Sandy Creek will attempt to advance on its 6-13 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 15-10 record after their 4-3 league loss to Mary Persons (Forsyth, GA).
