North Carolina High School Volleyball - Apex over Middle Creek

Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Apex Cougars (Apex, NC) and the visiting Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC), observed Apex's volleyball team top Middle Creek by a count of 3-0.

The Cougars (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against Green Hope (Cary, NC). The Falcons enter the Southwest Wake 4A contest with a 16-3 record. In their last contest, Green Hope was knocked off by Green Level (Cary, NC), 3-2, in a league contest.

Next, the Mustangs battle the Fuquay - Varina Bengals (Fuquay-Varina, NC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, October 7. Middle Creek will attempt to move on its 6-11 season record. The Bengals enter the contest with a 8-10 record after their 3-2 league win over Clayton (Clayton, NC).
