The Rockbridge County Wildcats topped the visiting Broadway Gobblers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Fort Defiance Indians (Fort Defiance, VA) in a non-league game, on Monday, October 7. Rockbridge County will attempt to advance on its 5-6 season record. The Indians go into the game with a 14-1 record after their 3-1 league win over Staunton (Staunton, VA).

The Gobblers (10-5) will now prepare for their game against Rocktown (Harrisonburg, VA). The Raptors go into the Valley game with a 0-4 record. In their last game, Rocktown was dropped by William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA), 3-0, in a league game.
