Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Rockbridge County Wildcats (Lexington, VA), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Broadway improves its record to 7-2 on the season. The Gobblers host Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA) to face the Trailblazers in a Valley test on Tuesday, September 17. The Trailblazers go into the test with a record of 4-6. Spotswood lost 3-2 in their recent league test against Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA)

The Wildcats now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Rockingham for a Valley test on Thursday, September 12. Rockbridge County will face a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 8-2.
