The Omaha Central Eagles volleyball squad (Omaha, NE), was defeated 3-1 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Burke Bulldogs (Omaha, NE)

With the win, Burke improves its record to 7-15 on the season. The Bulldogs host Grand Island (Grand Island, NE) to encounter the Islanders in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 5. The Islanders go into the battle with a record of 15-6. Grand Island won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Lincoln High (Lincoln, NE)

The Eagles now own a 12-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mercy for a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 15.
