The Perquimans Pirates topped the host Tarboro Vikings volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Pirates face the Gates County Red Barons (Gatesville, NC) in a Four Rivers 1A game, on Tuesday, October 8. Perquimans will attempt to advance on its 17-1 season record.

The Vikings (0-15) will now prepare for their game against Washington County (Plymouth, NC). The Panthers go into the Four Rivers 1A game with a 1-6 record.
