The Perquimans Pirates prevailed the visiting Tarboro Vikings volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Pirates confront the Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, September 11. Perquimans will attempt to advance on its 9-1 season record. The Knights enter the game with a 2-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Holmes (Edenton, NC).

The Vikings (0-10) will now prepare for their game against Washington County (Plymouth, NC). The Panthers enter the Four Rivers 1A game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Washington County was dropped by Gates County (Gatesville, NC), 3-0, in a league game.
