    October 3, 2025: Asheville, NC 28801

    The crowd at Friday's league contest between the T.C. Roberson Rams (Asheville, NC) and the host Asheville Cougars (Asheville, NC), witnessed T.C. Roberson's football squad knock off Asheville by a tally of 41-20.

    The Rams (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against North Buncombe (Weaverville, NC). The Black Hawks enter the Mountain 5A/6A contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, North Buncombe dropped by Enka (Enka, NC), 21-3, in a league bout.

    The Cougars now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to A.C. Reynolds for a Mountain 5A/6A contest on Friday, October 10. Asheville will battle a Rockets squad coming off a 14-10 league win over Erwin (Asheville, NC). The Rockets record now stands at 3-3.
