Texas High School Volleyball - Carthage over Cumberland Academy

In Friday's league challenge, the host Carthage Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Cumberland Academy Knights.
The Bulldogs (17-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Chapel Hill (Tyler, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 4A Region II District 16 challenge with a 5-23 record. In their last challenge, Chapel Hill lost by Gilmer (Gilmer, TX), 3-1, in a league challenge.
Next, the Knights play the Spring Hill Panthers (Longview, TX) in a 4A Region II District 16 challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. Cumberland Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 11-11 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 30-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Henderson (Henderson, TX).
