Texas High School Volleyball - Carthage over Cumberland Academy

The Carthage Bulldogs (Carthage, TX) volleyball knocked off the host Cumberland Academy Knights (Tyler, TX), 3-0 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Bulldogs now possess a 12-14 record. They play next when they travel to Chapel Hill for a 4A Region II District 16 bout on Saturday, September 13. Carthage will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Gilmer (Gilmer, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-17.

With the loss, Cumberland Academy drops to 10-6 on the year. The Knights travel to Spring Hill (Longview, TX) to confront the Panthers in a 4A Region II District 16 match on Friday, September 12. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 23-6. Spring Hill won 3-0 in their recent league match against Henderson (Henderson, TX)
