Texas High School Volleyball - Montgomery over Rudder

The Montgomery Bears (Montgomery, TX) volleyball knocked off the host Rudder Rangers (Bryan, TX), 3-0 in Friday's league bout.

The Bears now possess a 31-9 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Creek for a 5A Region III District 17 bout on Tuesday, October 7. Montgomery will clash with a Lions team coming off a 3-2 league win over Brenham (Brenham, TX). The Lions record now stands at 16-19.

With the loss, Rudder drops to 13-24 on the campaign. The Rangers host Huntsville (Huntsville, TX) to battle the Hornets in a 5A Region III District 17 contest on Tuesday, October 7. The Hornets enter the contest with a record of 17-22.
