Texas High School Volleyball - Pearce over Nimitz

In Friday's league challenge, the host Pearce Mustangs volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Nimitz Vikings.

The Mustangs (21-11) will now prepare for their test against Irving (Irving, TX). The Tigers go into the 6A Region I District 7 test with a 5-13 record. In their last test, Irving achieved victory over Lake Highlands (Dallas, TX), 3-2, in a league test.

The Vikings now own a 8-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richardson for a 6A Region I District 7 test on Tuesday, October 7. Nimitz will face a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league win over MacArthur (Irving, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 20-14.
