The Pius X Thunderbolts (Lincoln, NE) volleyball knocked off the visiting Standing Bear Grizzlies (Lincoln, NE), 2-0 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Thunderbolts now possess a 15-10 record. They play next when they travel to Lincoln North Star for a non-league bout on Friday, October 3. Pius X will clash with a Navigators team coming off a 3-0 league win over Lincoln Southwest (Lincoln, NE). The Navigators record now stands at 17-2.

With the loss, Standing Bear drops to 9-11 on the campaign. The Grizzlies travel to Lincoln East (Lincoln, NE) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 4. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 7-15. Lincoln East lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Kearney (Kearney, NE)
