The St. Pius X Sartans volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Grants Pirates to 0 in the Sartans non-league victory on Monday.
The Sartans now possess a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valencia for a non-league game on Thursday, November 2. St. Pius X will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Grants (Grants, NM). The Jaguars record now stands at 10-2.
The Pirates (7-10) will now prepare for their game against Highland (Albuquerque, NM). The Hornets enter the non-league game with a 5-9 record. In their last game, Highland was dropped by Belen (Belen, NM), 2-1, in a non-league game.
