In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Belen Eagles volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Highland Hornets.
The Eagles (10-7) will now prepare for their battle against Grants (Grants, NM). The Pirates come into the battle with a 8-10 record. In their last battle, Grants nudged Highland (Albuquerque, NM), 2-0, in a league battle.
