The Deming Wildcats held off the visiting Chaparral Lobos soccer squad by a margin of 3-2 in Tuesday's league match.
The Wildcats now sport a 2-13 record. They play next when they travel to Silver for a 4A District 3 match on Saturday, October 8. Deming will encounter a Fighting Colts squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa, NM). The Fighting Colts record now stands at 7-3.
