In Tuesday's non-league contest, the West Carteret Patriots (Morehead City, NC) volleyball squad were winner over the host Dixon Bulldogs (Holly Ridge, NC), by a margin of 2-0.
Next up, the Patriots battle the East Carteret Mariners (Beaufort, NC) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, October 5. West Carteret will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record.
With the loss, Dixon moves to 6-12 on the year. The Bulldogs host Croatan (Newport, NC) to battle the Cougars in a non-league contest on Thursday, October 6. The Cougars go into the contest with a record of 6-3.
