The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Rosewood Eagles (Goldsboro, NC) and the visiting Union Spartans (Rose Hill, NC), saw Rosewood's volleyball squad beat Union by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Rosewood upgrades its record to 4-3 on the year. The Eagles travel to Neuse Charter (Smithfield, NC) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Thursday, October 6. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 6-12. Neuse Charter lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Hobbton (Newton Grove, NC)

The Spartans now own a 3-13 record. They play next when they travel to North Duplin for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 6. Union will play a Rebels squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Lakewood (Roseboro, NC). The Rebels record now stands at 7-6.
