The Union Spartans volleyball team (Rose Hill, NC), was dropped 2-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Rosewood Eagles (Goldsboro, NC)

The Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against North Lenoir (LaGrange, NC). The Hawks enter the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record.

Next, the Spartans meet the North Duplin Rebels (Calypso, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 20. Union will attempt to move on its 2-9 season record.
