Lake Center Christian Tiger (Hartville, OH) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Rootstown Rovers (Rootstown, OH), 2-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Tiger face the Hawken Hawks (Gates Mills, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 8. Lake Center Christian will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record. The Hawks enter the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Elyria (Elyria, OH).
The Rovers now have a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Berkshire for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 6. Rootstown will face a Badgers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Lakeside (Ashtabula, OH). The Badgers record now stands at 11-2.
