The Gateway College Preparatory Gators volleyball team (Georgetown, TX), was nudged 3-2 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Burnet Bulldogs (Burnet, TX)

The Bulldogs (19-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Jarrell (Jarrell, TX). The Cougars enter the 4A Region III District 24 challenge with a 14-15 record. In their last challenge, Jarrell was nudged by Lampasas (Lampasas, TX), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Gators encounter the Lago Vista Vikings (Lago Vista, TX) in a 4A Region III District 24 challenge, on Friday, October 7. Gateway College Preparatory will attempt to move on its 15-7 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 16-20 record after their 3-0 league win over Marble Falls (Marble Falls, TX).
