The White Oak Vikings volleyball team (Jacksonville, NC), was dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Croatan Cougars (Newport, NC)

The Cougars (13-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Dixon (Holly Ridge, NC). The Bulldogs enter the Coastal 3A challenge with a 10-8 record. In their last challenge, Dixon was dropped by West Carteret (Morehead City, NC), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Vikings encounter the Richlands Wildcats (Richlands, NC) in a Coastal 3A challenge, on Thursday, October 6. White Oak will attempt to move on its 3-10 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 6-12 record after their 3-0 league win over Swansboro (Swansboro, NC).
