The Croatan Cougars (Newport, NC) volleyball overcame the visiting White Oak Vikings (Jacksonville, NC), 3-0 in Thursday's league outing.

With the win, Croatan betters its record to 6-4 on the year. The Cougars travel to New Bern (New Bern, NC) to face the Bears in a non-league outing on Monday, September 19. The Bears go into the outing with a record of 2-9. New Bern lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against D.H. Conley (Greenville, NC)

The Vikings now sport a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Richlands for a Coastal 3A outing on Tuesday, September 20.
