In Tuesday's league battle, the host Kettle Run Cougars volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Liberty Eagles.

The Cougars (8-9) will now prepare for their battle against Sherando (Stephens City, VA). The Warriors come into the Northwestern battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, Sherando lost by James Wood (Winchester, VA), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Eagles encounter the Battlefield Bobcats (Haymarket, VA) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, October 5. Liberty will attempt to advance on its 6-6 season record. The Bobcats come into the battle with a 12-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Osbourn (Manassas, VA).
