The Porter Spartans topped the host Nacogdoches Dragons volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league test.
The Spartans now have a 11-19 record. They put it on the line next when they host Huntsville for a 5A Region II District 16 test on Friday, October 7. Porter will confront a Hornets team coming off a 3-2 league win over Dayton (Dayton, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 22-17.
The Dragons (2-9) will now prepare for their test against Lufkin (Lufkin, TX). The Panthers enter the 5A Region II District 16 test with a 31-13 record. In their last test, Lufkin gained a win over Kingwood Park (Kingwood, TX), 3-0, in a league test.
